Fundamentally Games is reimagining publishing for living games. We are passionate about helping game developers with bringing their games to live and managing the live operations to scale their game.
Our engagement-led strategy aims to scale games faster by getting more players, doing more things, more often and for longer.
We’re a small but growing team, with a focus on role and career development, diversity, work life balance, job satisfaction and a positive work environment.
Just as we all have physical health that varies from person to person and from time to time, we all have mental health which fluctuates. Our goal is to build and maintain a workplace environment and culture that promotes positive mental health and wellbeing.
We have mental health support available for everyone in our team through Spill.
We have a mental health first aider in the team, and you can read our mental health & wellbeing policy.
It’s simple. We don’t do crunch. We value your time and wellbeing and encourage a healthy work life balance.
We’re just starting out, but our senior team bring years of experience in the industry and have financial backing that puts us in a great position to build the company and our team. We’re a small team but growing fast and we’re looking for talented people who want to have an impact on the company direction and growth, as well as bring new skills, experiences, and backgrounds to the team.
We all love games, and we love people who love games. So, we actively encourage and support any personal projects you may be working on, and we don’t take any claim over them.
Check out our full personal projects policy.
We believe that diversity brings diverse thinking, which is essential to the success of any team. We are a diverse team, and we’re always looking to increase our diversity when hiring new team members. Our aim is for our workforce to be truly representative of all sections of society and our customers, and for each employee to feel respected and able to give their best.

Whether you’re joining in an entry level position, or in a senior role, we want to make sure that you always have opportunities for learning and moving forward with your role. We also believe that it is important for us to support your career development and aspirations, outside of your specific role. When you join the company, we will work together to create a personal development plan and will review this with you every 3 months. This plan will identify opportunities for personal development, and what support you need to develop them, including access to a yearly training budget.
We are a fully remote working team, and we also support flexible working. Most of us work from home, but if you would prefer to join a local hub/hot desk then we can support that too. We like to meet occasionally when we can, usually in London or at games events.
We have flexible working to support our team to be able to do their job around their personal commitments and preferences (within the requirements of your role). Our full-time hours are 37 hours per week, and you can choose to work those hours over 4 or 5 days a week. You can also work around commitments such as childcare or medical appointments. We trust you to deliver on your work commitments and communicate your availability to us.
We have a friendly work environment, with social activities (remotely, and when possible, in person too). You can join our weekly D&D sessions, we have monthly industry news discussions, regular gameplay sessions and social events, one to ones ‘grab a coffee and chat’ are encouraged as is hanging out on discord together, and we’re always looking for new ideas from the team for social and team building activities.
We give you an extra day’s holiday for every year you work at Fundamentally Games, up to a max of 5 extra days (you start with 28 days holiday in year 1).
